Connection Failed

I have been playing on your server for a few weeks, It's great. However i am having a problem getting in the sever quite often. The map downloads and i enter, however i never get my gun sites , cant jump, etc...before its says Connection faild and kicks me off. Any Idea's whats going on?

I know there is one map in particular that it does that on. I cant remember the name of it but it's a map with a bunch of treehouses joined with ramps and the whole map is like in a bad haze. Usually, the map just crashes and the server reboots. Sometimes, however, it doesn't crash and it does exactly what you are saying. Let me know what maps have been doing this to you and I'll check into it and get it resolved. Have a good one.

Most of the time I see the servers down in HSLW, but when I start UT, they still show down and can't connect to them, only when i start UT using HSLW to connect to the server, it tells me that its down and ask me to try or wait, then I click on try and then I get a connection. sometimes good sometimes bad and keeps getting diconnected all the time.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much we can do. We could pester the hell out of the happy Indian we rent this box from but I highly doubt it would help. They are having issues right now because of everything that has been temporarily re-routed due to the screwy-ass weather and flooding. It would be possible to change providers, but I don't think there would be any guarantee that the service would be better.

Historically, our provider has been very good to us. The service has been excellent up until the last few weeks. Hopefully, things will return to normal very quickly. I can try cutting max players on the server from 24 to 14 and see if that helps the stress a little. Meanwhile, please be patient and have some faith in the happy little Indian dude. I think things will return to normal very soon. If not, the founders will discuss switching to a new provider. Have a good one.
