Cheating?

Today a player "Luthor" sais he was running a "bot" by itself while he was on the phone. He also fully admitted that his bot knew where everyone on the map was...is this a form of cheating or is this guy kidding around? Also playing was someone calling himself "Better Than Anyone Else Here" who seemed to know about the bot also...he stated that he runs a hardcore gangsta bot on "my server." MY question is can people cheat on this server or what?

i have seen them use a bot in the game once before.
so ya i think maybe they could not sure only seen its once.

Best_player_here is also known as McLovin. This Luthor character should be banned next time you see him on. A hack can be set to auto-aim and auto-fire. Sounds like he was also running a radar. While he was away on the phone, did his character move around the map or did it sit still?

As for your question about cheaters playing here? Yes, certain cheats can go undetected. It's a constant battle for the folks that write the anti-cheats. Everytime a new anti-cheat comes out, a new cheat that can pass is written.

Just use your best judgment if you think someone is cheating. Ban them and make sure that you PM me with their name, time and date of accident, server name, and map name. I will collect the logs and check into them. If they are positive, your ban stays. If not than the ban will be lifted.

I only have a question about banning people, because Draco post a notice, that for banning have to enter to a direction on web.. and ip address and not like in the past with the options on !open ..... but i see that !open is again..... so... where have to do this? is still from the ip address that Draco give?.

Yeah, I remember that day, he claimed to have a bot but if he did have a bot, it sucked because I kept killing him. I dont have a bot, nor did I actually know he had one. He just said something to the effect of "I have a bot, would it be okay to turn it on?" Yes, I admit, I said "go for it" knowing that if he did use one, he would be banned. My bad on that one, but I didnt believe he actually had one. Like i said, if he had one, it sucked because he clearly wasnt winning. Yeah, I do play as The_Best_Player_Here. When im screwin around but McLovin will be my primary name. ( I have also used Ben Afflick but I wont anymore)

Since this is my first post, let me take a second to introduce myself. I live in Maryland and I use to play UT hardcore back in 2001-2003 and I was in a clan playing the Zark mod. (just like current RzA) and it was much fun. I enjoy playing on my spare time but I have a family and full time job so I don't get to play as often as I like. The FUN server has become my favorite, mostly because you dont have to crouch to shoot and i am not much of a camper. The clan members seem to be very friendly and i have not yet had a negative encounter on the server. My playing style changes sometimes because sometimes I play seriously and other times, I like to mess around and explore the maps or jump around and let people shoot me. Either way, I just like to have fun.
