Emergency Clan meeting.

Earlier today, there was an issue with the dedicated box that we run all of our gameservers on. The harddrive basically went through a meltdown and had to be replaced. I was able to restore the Halo servers and Teamspeak from 2 week old copies. When it came time to restore the UT99 servers, there was an issue. Death_Dealer screwed-up when he created the zip file for the UT folder containing all of our UT servers. The file is corrupt and cannot be repaired. All other back-ups are over-written each time we create a new back-up so we are basically screwed. Hundreds of hours of work are gone. I'm calling an emergency meeting so we can decide as a clan what we are going to do. Personally, I'm done. I have no urge to start over because some else fucked-up. Someone else may be interested in re-building them but I'm not.

The meeting will be at 8:00pm eastern tonight on Funclan TS. I would like to see as many there that can attend. Normally I would say have a good one, but this has me pissed off.

not sure if anyone has noticed, but as of late i havent been around much.. there is a reason.. i have been helping Muad Dib get familiar with the CP(control panel) of the forum.. it has come to the point that i am really just not that interested in ut99 anymore.. i tried taking a break and playing COD, Halo and a few other games, hoping it would spark an interest back in ut99.. but no such luck.. so instead of leaving draco completely empty handed with all of the forum work.. i have been training my replacement(Muad Dib).. but, now due to recent events things will not be going as smoothly as planned..

you know what?? either do i.. after the bullshit you posted above i am washing my hands in it.. by the time you are able to read this, i will have already tore the homepage apart.. i did leave up the TS viewer for ur precious meeting tonight.. your damn lucky that i was able to get Muad Dib a few lessons before this came about or you would have been completely FUCKED.. hopefully he has learned enough in the last week to repair everything.. if not, tough shit.. if things would have been handled alot more respectfully then it wouldnt have come to this.. but your post pissed me off too.. as i said.. i didnt touch the forum, because it takes way to much for 1 person to start frum scratch..

as you can tell by my title, i have unregistered myself from the forum(Guest Usergroup).. i didnt want to give you the satisfaction of doing it.. i was tempted to delete all admin accounts to, but i didnt.. feel free to delete my account if you wish.. have fun rebuilding this place without me...

GOTCHA!!! April Fool's!!! Everyone was a great sport about it. I figured that we needed to do this. The admins here at [FUN] never have any issues at all. We have never really had even an argument about anything, not to mention, I never even get wound up. I wanted people to know that we are human. What better way than to prank the entire clan? I want to thank everyone for not walking out when they found out it was all BS. I wanna think the other admins for helping to pull it all off.
