.gif as avatar

I found a .gif image I'd like to use as avatar, but somehow it won't display properly. It should be moving, but when I add it as my avatar it doesn't.

Is it impossible (and has Motor just 1337 h4x0r3d his way through it), or am I (once again) doing something wrong?

It's not just you. I tried like hell to get my "Private Ryan" gif in my sig to work as an avatar. I couldn't get it to work either. We'll need Death_Dealer to hook us up with what the particulars are. Have a good one.

the only restriction i can see is the size of it.. it has to be 100x100.. shit, i have the pic size set to 19mb.. so just crop the frames to 100x100.. if you dont have a program to do it easily, send it to me and i can shrink it in secs...
