Hey, I just started to have this problem this week. I'm having to click 2,3,4, times on things to get them to execute. I've run spyware removers, virus scans, reloaded my mouse drivers, can't figure out what is going on. It started when I was redirected over at CC's website. didnt think anything about it at the time, but thats when this started to act up. any info or help would be appreciated.

does this happen just in a game, or in windows also? Have you tried a different mouse--shouldn't need drivers, unless it is a laptop w/ a touchpad, try a usb mouse. If you don't have another mouse available, go the mouse in the control panel and switch the buttons to a left handed mouse so you can rule out the left button all together. If it is just in one certain application or game, try updating it/patches, run windows updates manually and also look at optional updates. (make sure you are only doing Windows updates, not Microsoft.) To run manually, open IE, click on tools, and windows updates will be an option, that will take you to the correct link. Hope some of this helps.

went online to creative's website, seems that there are lots of people having the same problem with the Fatality 1010 gaming mouse. Evidently its a piece of $^!-. Creative refuses to do anything about it. The left mouse button either refuses to click or multiclicks. Oh well, guess I go back to my old Logitech Mouse.

That's all you had to say. I just recently (last 2 weeks) retired my Fatality Mouse for the exact same reason. The switch in the left-button wears out rather quickly. Hard to believe I paid $50 for a a mouse that lasted only 6 months when a stock mouse can last you years for $10. Have a good one.

LOL, yes I know, I had mine about 4 months. Could not believe it myself. What a piece of junk they sold!

I love the idea behind it and others like it. Too bad it was made in China by a bunch of kids, huh?:D:D:D

I don't think it has anything to do with kids, it was put together correctly, just with cheap parts that wore out instantly.
