Ok several things. First Im on Ubuntu. With that said I have a linux installed version of UT. Is there a way I do not have to recheck the dodge box after going to a non dodge game or server each time? 2nd thing is skins. Is there a way I will default to my chosen skin after playing teams or on a server that forces default skins without having to redo that as well?

Last thing. TEAMSPEAK WILL NOT WORK!! Its driving me nuts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I can connect as a guest. (I dont know my official login info) but once connected I can only hear you guys I can not speak I can not close the window nor open anything in settings, ect. All I can do is switch channels. I cant even move the window. Eventually I need to forcequit. More info needed? What do I provide and how do I get it :)
One of you Linux guys can just fly over to Virginia and fix it for me if you wish lol

Thanks

I was wondering why I had never spoken to you. Linux is not my strong point. Hopefully after my trainning course in January I maybe interested enough to play around with it, but for now I'm a bit thick on Linux

Me too but its new to me so its fun. I have trouble finding files because of the directory structure. It makes total sense but again its new. Best part is it works and its stable. Worst part is all the typing from the command lines. Help is nearby from knowledgeable people but one always doesnt get the explaination of why it works just do this it will fix it.....

If Draco doesn't see this, definitely PM him with your issues. He helped me when I installed UT and TeamSpeak on Linux when I had it.

For the UT99 issues: If you play on a server that has a 'No Dodge' mod you manually have to reset your dodge in your game. Same goes for you color.

Besides, color doesn't mean anything for most players. Ask MastaVants, he played in a bright yellow soldier skin for months kicking everyone's butts.

Your exactly right. I do however sometimes hide in the shadows in a dark skin
Im gonna look and find the brightest largest skin I can and learn how to dodge and hide!!:)
