Problem with scope

Hey, been playing here and when I try to use my scope on the rifle, I have a giant black box blocking the view. Only happens on this server, I play on other sniper servers and don't have any problems.

Hey there! This is pretty common. Go into your UnrealTournament.ini and find the section of the driver you are using for the game.

[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] = OpenGL
[D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] = Direct3D



Find the "HighDetailActors=False" and change it to true. This will get everything working for you. Have a good one.

I tryed that, doesn't seem to have changed anything :(

Open your UnrealTournament.ini file with notepad and do a find for the phrase HightDetailActors= and change all instances of it to true. This is the only thing that causes the blackbox so, once you've changed all instances, you won't have the blackbox anymore. Another solution is to just use OpenGL. Have a good one.
