A user rang up complaining that their link was intermittent and they were dropping packets.

One of our techies went on site and found the problem - a lazy bodge it job by someone else.

We call it Cellotape. We have one site that still uses BNC. Still get dickhead users taking the terminator off the end and wondering why the leg goes down.

I think we have all done that - remoting users PCs logged in as Admin and you get disconnected.

No, this is the brand new server that we just got tonight! I was in the process of optimizing it to function as a gameserver box. I was checking the firewall and network connection settings and hit disable instead of properties!!! Ima FUCKIN MORON!!!! hysthysthysthyst
