Ok So here is a vid of me playing the trooper by iron maiden.

The part i play is what i used to play in my old band.
I wrote my own solo on it(wich i could only remember bits and peaces from)
so i sort of improvised that.

The vid is yet again not in sync with the audio. I cannot get it to work for some reason.

Try to enjoy it anyway,

Or not.

Whatever you like:)

Ty:D the thing is, when i covered this song we played it about twice as fast as the original. So this was pretty slow:P lol

Very good - shame about the sound sync problem.

Anyone know that song Maiden did for the Lucozade advert - Night at the Opera or something? I'll have a look

When I was a kid, my first challenge to myself on bass was to teach myself how to play every Iron Maiden written up to that point. The album at the time was 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son'. It took every available second of everyday for just over a year but I did it. I learned to do it all with 3 fingers. I cheated. Steve Harris, contrary to popular belief, does it all on 2. ;););)
