Yes, take off everything and start over. First plug in the memory and fire it up, try to get into the bios. If its stable, turn it off and connect only the harddisk and then turn it on, if stable then turn it off again and connect the next device you have in, etc etc. But the question that comes to my mind is this, Is windows already starting or do you get it when you just turn on the system? If its on system startup (without windows starting), then I think there is something wrong with the memory. That's why you need to disconnect everything and start it only with the memory and try to get into the bios. I had this on a system too, it seems that the memory was corrupted. Took it out and replaced it and voila.

Otherwise download the ISO of IHAVETHEPASSWORD and start the system from that CD. This is the ultimate hacking CD I use. If you can't get it, let me know.

I have always found that when hot coffee will not work, KICK THE LIVING SHIIIT OUT OF THE SIDE OF THE CASE. It usually makes me feel better!!!although it doesnt always solve the computer issues!!

Be careful because once you let the magic blue smoke out, you can't put it back in.

Worked for me! But it has to be a karate kick and you have to take the side panel of the casing off and hit it just right.

Tried it, most likely ruined the CPU with that...

It was either the kick or me dropping it when I took it from on system to place it into the other, either way: it won't fire up on either two of the systems...
