DirectX10 for XP? I stumbled on this when I found something in reference to DirectX11 (totally bogus of course).

However this site tells you how to do DirectX10 for XP, but I have no inclination to do it - just so I can play Halo2? And I would do it on a clean build not my working PC, also you need the SDK as well.

But the site in general has some damn useful stuff on there, mainly techie stuff, so hopefully there will be something of interest or use on there for people.

I think Pyro has actually done this. From what I remember, he said it works great.

I figured the link would be interesting in general, but I wasn't going to dash off and start messing with my PC - I might do a custom build on a spare drive first.

Well most of my games don't look "stunning" i.e. like screenshots out of mags, but I'm sure I can live with it. I can bet Windows7 will be a bastard for new and old hardware.

yes it works but you need to have the program that switches you back and from 9 to 10 , if you dont some of the older games will not work right just remember its hacked, so there are some draw backs
