SON-O-SAM: 5 day ban...

I'm not sure what happened with this guy. He has always been decent but the last couple of days he has decided to turn on JJ with attack after brutal attack. Continually calling him a cheater among many other things. We all know JJ doesn't cheat and I stand by the rule that says false accusers will get banned just as fast as confirmed cheaters. Seeing how SON-O-SAM is a regular on our server with almost no prior problems, he will get a 5 day ban to start. If any members see him on the server, please issue him a 5 day ban. I'm sure I will here about it within minutes because he does email often.

My response:

I hate to have to state the obvious. We have a rule that chronic false accusers are as unwelcome as confirmed hackers.

You have a tendency of blowing things up WAY out of proportion everytime you feel persecuted or wronged. First, it wasn't a tiny incident that came and went. It lasted an hour of you doing nothing but being rude and disrespectful to JJ who, along with his father, play on our servers much more then you.. I received 5 emails of screenshots and a demo of you showing your ass. Second, the comment about the childish authority thing, we have had 14,000 players on and just over 62,000 matches played in the last year with only a banlist of 30 people from the last 18 months. Well now 31 because I'll be changing your ban to permanent. Third, have a nice life. I know I will and I won't miss you or your persistent crying about Team DeathMatch.

The logs confirm that the events were one-sided. Again, I need to state that the philosophy is just because someone is better then you doesn't mean they are cheating.

Thank you for handling this situation in such a mature and thoughtful way. We were just as shocked as you. I know JJ and I don't join u guys on team speak but we have always tried to be a part of the community. I really don't mind bad language or even put away your bot comments...shit...JJ hears me swear like a sailor when I'm gettn whooped...But this just seemed really personal...and went on for ever. I have played this guy before and I honestly thought he maybe just had too many pops that day...or had a rough day...It happens...especially on the weekend...We don't bear him any permanent grudges and hope that maybe one day he will be allowed to come back to your server...If you guys see fit...and he gets over himself...Also, I told JJ to put the governor on and let other people have some wins...after all it makes us all feel good to see our name at the top...the kid just amazes me...if you watched him play he is so in tune with the game...I never in my best day was that good...if it helps anyone...here is the secret to the transing to great heights...I still have not gotten my fingers to get it down completely...
Here you go if you can understand it:


He shoots the trans with the mouse left fire button then does a quick jump inbetween with the right mouse button... He has his left pinky finger on the Ctrl button for the alt-fire which makes you appear where ever it lands. The real high jumps he makes by always keeping his middle finger depressed on the down arrow and his left ring finger on the left arrow and his left index finger on the right arrow. On the high buildings you will notice if you watch his player it moves slighly backwards after each jump...because that back arrow is almost always depressd..the amazing thing is when he needs to trans up and over a really tall shelf...he depresses the left arrow for a sec or the right arrow for a sec right after the small jump inbetween...depending if he wants to shift right or left...it is amazing to watch...and you maybe totally confused...but those slight jumps and shifts in keys allows you to scale huge objects quickly...and gives you a millisec to reshoot the trans again before falling to the floor...we have the zero key on the number pad set to next weapon. To Whom It May Concern:

I visited your forum recently and noticed that my ban has been changed to "A LIFE SENTENCE". Pretty severe punishment for a petty crime (I thought someone was cheating). You would get along great in the Middle East as they be-head people for petty crimes. Are JJ's screen shots intended to prove me guilty? They only show what he wants you to see and anybody with a little common sense should know that. I never once threatened anyone with physical harm, nor did I use vugular language such as you did in an e-mail to me. I noticed that your server name contains the word "FUCKING". Aren't you afraid some little kid will see that and be corruped for life? I can't even type the word "SHIT" without it being edited. Is that a double standard or what? I have removed your server from my favorites so as not to offend anyone again. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, I thought we were playing a game here, the object of which is to blow your opponents brains out!

From what I've heard this is definitely not the first time he has had to come to your rescue. All I needed from that point was acknowledgment from you that you screwed up and broke 2 rules and the ban would have been changed back to 5 days. The 5 day ban was a result of you breaking 2 rules. The ban become permanent when you sent your first email and made yourself look like an ass by insulting me. Which was not the first time you've done it through email.

As for the proof that you question, I also have detailed log files supporting JJ's evidence that span several maps. I'm not going to spend 2 hours cleaning out IP addresses and ID's of everyone elses just to post them to show the same stuff JJ's Screenshots show.

You say you got a new IP. I guess you need to ask Jake how easy it is for me to ban you. BTW, I already have your new IP address.

Seeing how I respect your boy, I'm going to leave it at 5 days and you and I can agree we both hate each others guts and move on. I don't like you never have. Don't like your attitude or play style. You whine way too much, throw fits and log if TDM is voted in. You always vote for the same maps which are full of secrets and hide in the same spots on each map. I have spec'ed you more than once. Frankly it is no [FUN] if you are playing.
Now if you have an issue with one of the players on our servers there are ways of dealing with it. None of which include harrassing the members or players. Instead of taking the mature route to handle your issues you again whined and threw a fit publicly. I for one Sir am glad your banned. It will make my playtime much more [FUN]. My only thoughts are how long it is going to take you to get banned from the Forums as well.

To Draco and JJ,

I obviously was wrong about JJ. He apparently is a very good player and I jumped to a conclusions about him cheating and I apologize to him. I only hope that someday I am good enough to be accused of cheating!

As far as my remarks to you after I was banned, I was frustrated and had no other recourse but to dump on you. For that I apologize and hope that this buries the hatchet.

Wasn't sure how to post this on the forum, so I hope you will pass it on.
