No crosshairs

I don't get any cross hairs or hud display on server [FUN] Clan Camping Sniping Server *Custom Rifles***\66.128.51.235\7778\False.

Also, no response to F1.

I've tried running the Cache Cleaner to no avail.

My machine (it's old - but so am I):

Pentium 3
Win XP Pro
320 MB RAM (I'm also unemployed)
Tyan S1854 mobo
NVidia GeForce2 Ti (I told you it was old...stop laughin')

Any ideas, besides "Get a new machine"?

It's not your machine. You are the second person I've seen to have this problem. I don't know if the other person figured it out. Try downloading and installing this patch located here (http://redirect.pet-passion.net/FUNdownloads/patches/UTPatch436nodelta.exe). Just run the patch and give it a try. For some reason, I'm thinking you may be playing with version 432. Even if you are up to date with 436, try installing it anyways. Have a good one.

Not sure if it is the problem, but try getting the latest D3D8/D3D9 or OpenGL driver with support for the vid card you use... I recall some people have problems with textures on older cards, but it's a long time ago and I didn't know how they fixed it...

No progress so far. Another thing I noticed is that when I go to this server and no one else is there I can't start the match - only fly through.

It's just weird, and frustrating, that I only have this on one server.

I checked my Player Setup while on the server and I'm not in Spectator Mode, but it sure acts like it. I have (at times) been able to fire my weapon (and usually miss, thus giving my position away and...well, you know).

Like I said, it's only on this server. So weird!

Well...erm...um...no (sorry Ziggy). You see, I have the Anthology version so I have to back-up my maps, INI files, etc., uninstall everything, reinstall everything, and upload my back-ups. Who has that kind of time?

Well, I do, actually. I did it all while on hold with Social Security (they have my disability all screwed up).

You just had to enable "HighDetailActors" :-P If you ever go on a server that has a black box over the crosshairs or they dont show up, just enable that :-)
