Hey guys,
I've been using TS, for about 2 months, and i just got the teamspeak overlay, about a week ago, i didnt realize this 'till now, but you know when someone leaves the server, it says "member left" but it also says ""name" left", or somthing like that... well, it doesnt say ""name" joined" or anythign like that, the voice still say "Member joined", but not ""name" joined", this becomes a problem with the overlay, because, it doesnt say who joins, cuz it "reads" what is at the bottom of TS... Is this happening to you guys too? Any help?
Thanks!

It's not a TS bug. TSO is still a beta and as such will still do unexpected things. In TSO config, you can set what you want displayed. Check there.

I know TSO is still in beta, its just that it "reads" what teamspeak gives it, and teamspeak doesnt even say "name" joined. TSO only says to me, what teamspeak tells it...
even when i dont have the overlay on, it still doenst say ""name" joined" or anything, but it does it when someone leaves the server... Thanks tho

Then check the notifications set-up in Teamspeak options.

Where do I change what it writes in the event box tho, That only gives me the option to change the sound notifications. I want to have it say in the event box "[Player Name]Joined Server". It says in the event box "[Player Name] Quit" so TSO tells me who quits the server, but not who joins...
Using windows, could there be a LUA script you could get for me, or a tutorial on how to make one?

I believe TS3 client will be backwards compatible and will be able to connect to multiple TS2 servers and TS3 servers simultaneously. As with all upgrades, there will be a test period here at FUN to determine if the TS3 software will work well for us.

the TS3, if you go to the TS3 website... it says, it will have better voice quality, and a compleatly redesigned way to do EVERYTHING... like the messaging, will be more like IMing, and stuff like that...
yea, it specificly say TS3 will be in no way compatable with TS2

It says it's nothing like TS2 meaning it was built completely from the ground up using completely different method. It doesn't mean it's not compatible. Improved voice quality and all that is great but we are more concerned in the resources required to run it. If it puts too much of a load on our box, we'll be sticking with TS2.
