On a good night when the server is crowded I can get 30 kills in 2 minutes on Barpunky.. just saying. I'm sure you're right, I just wanted to watch a demo to confirm it.

Hi Bad Motor!...Sounds like this guy was a piece of work...and probably would have been banned sooner or later...sounds like he was agreeing with you tho on the bot issue... possibly... or maybe just pissed off...not sure...But one thing I noticed from your comments...It is entirely possible to get a kill every six seconds on that map without a bot...I have seen JJ do it...or even faster...If you spawn on one of those tall nobby stones just inside the perimiter you just crouch and rotate around it looking to the perimiter and scanning continuously...also from the road down the middle crouch at the end of it in the black corner to the left and face the big buriel crypt in the middle...No joke...pan left and right and somone appears every few seconds..I have seen JJ clear that map in record time...but he's a freak like me...LOL ; - ) ...no bots needed. I just went on, he was using the name of his cheat website as his alias this time, spec'd him and instantly saw he was cheating... the thing is, its just some guy that made his own cheat and is trying to sale it, its an extremely poorly made aimbot and can't even track right when people are running in a straight side to side motion, its horrible. He's just trying to make money off of what he thinks is his skill in coding, but it's actually quite bad and I would probably still roll him 1v1.

Anyway, it's clear he cheats and I have demo to prove now, keep him banned as well as possible.

I would normally agree. I watch in amazement when I see players like JJ or Ziggy play, its art. Not disagreeing with any comments made at this point, all are true. One thing made it obvious, the server didn't hit the minimum player requirement to remove all bots, and there are more the 10 spawn points on the map.

The freestlye server has a had lot of people the last 2 weeks with bots in.. There was a guy in yesterday as well fragdounout or something.. when i went to go spec him he just waved at me in a corner.. I asked him if he was gong to play now that I was watching or wave and he said wave.. I thought it was funny... haha anyways...

Okay well this guy is only here for giggles.. He likes to be watched. He has no problem admiting that he is cheating but wants to be watched.. well he wants me to stop playing and watch him.. in his words .. to make sure he is being good. it is all in logs... this is more then just being watched in the game he has problems... catt tried to ban him again.. but we all know how that is going.

If you are having a hard time banning the cheater via the web admin page for the server then I would suggest that the server be taken off line and then edit in his ban range like this (68.203.0-255.*) or just ban the complete range 68.200.0.255 or like this 68.200.*.* That should take care of it. If you are still having a problem take the server off line and edit the ip ban into the servers INI and reboot. But ofcourse save the file before rebooting.

I'm back. Why does it seem that hell waits to break out only when I'm having computer or internet problems? I'll try a hostname ban on his ass and then do a complete range ban on him in the box as a whole if needed. Have a good one.

They probably don't give a shit about this game anymore, but messing with ut coding like that is supposedly illegal right? I dunno, doubt anything would happen but might prove slightly bothersome to him if he got an email from Epic, or they shut his site down..

This guy has several AKA's. He is also known as *Legion and linuxFTW. The problem with doing any kind of range ban is that we would block close to 10 other clean regulars.

They are dead serious about it. They will only go after guys trying to profit off of their code and tend not to bother the ones making free bots for UT99 anyways.

Well Draco without giving his site name away (pm me if u want it) he was clearly advertising a 4 dollar aimbot.

And to your other point, if you ban his range, you can also set "allows" through webadmin for those clean players... ban his range, but then allow the clean ones.. unless their ip's change often, then, eh, just ban him each time he comes on. But don't talk to him, don't respond to him aimbotting in any way other than banning him.. it's a game to them to make you mad, if u get mad and show it you feed them and they come back.

True about the range ban and the one that I posted would have banned all of the Herndon VA area and I admitt it was a bit over the top. I would just suggest banning the last octet range the number of folks affected would be minimal.
