What do I need to add to my user.ini to get the FUN X-loc to come up when I hit the x-loc command? anyone? anyone? Bueller?

I feel like you're being sarcastic, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here...

I usually have a button on my mouse that I hit to bring up the trans-locater (x-loc). This button doesn't work on servers that have custom x-locs, until you get the exact name of the mod and plug it into your user.ini file. This way, instead of scrolling your mouse wheel to get to your x-loc, you can click a button and it's there. Kinda like selecting your best weapon, etc.

I have a button set for next weapon. When on a server that has rifle and trans only the next weapon is the one not in your hand. Same button swithes back and forth.

Considering the [FUN] x-loc is built into the rifle the default x-loc command or code will not work, therefore the next thing to do is precisely what Old Man said. Have a key bind that is 'goto next weapon'.

I wasn't being sarcastic i knew what an X-Loc is i just didnt know what you where talking about.. and yes i agree with Old_Man. just define aa key to "next weapon" seen as though there are only 2 weapons in [FUN]clan snipers
accepts the redeemer.

well, I use the mouse wheel to scroll to the next weapon. trouble is sometimes I'm trying to do it in a panic and I roll it two clicks. Would be nice to have it come up the same as the normal x-loc. If someone knew the exact name of it I could set the bind.

go to preferances , controls scroll down to wepons find next wepon and click on space to right then press the key you wish to use for next wepon. it may already be set to something but you can chance it and it can be set to 2 seperate keys at the same time.

Cool,Ill have a play around with that. Server im playing on lately has an impact hammer set between the rifle and trans that constantly pisses me off.

if you set

"KEY=SwitchWeapon Whateveritscalled" it will work, but only on FUN.

if you set

"KEY=SwitchWeapon 1" it will work, on every server with trans.

Guess this will be the educational thread of the day.

Also, set a key near that one to "KEY=Switchweapon 10" so that when you are done xlocing, in mid air hit that before you land, ready to shoot.. cuts out the delay on the scroll wheel weapon change.

I have my center mouse button set to bring up the best weapon, which on the FuN server is usually the sniper rifle (unless I have a deemer). The trouble is that if I click that button and try to start shooting, it doesn't shoot at all. I have to give it a second before I start shooting.

Is that the same delay you're talking about with the scroll wheel selection?

Thank you for this one Ziggy, I basically have to tweak your suggestions into my settings.
I had a 1v1 with ShadowFox yesterday, despite his much lower ping, he was changing back and forth instantly......whereas I was using my mouse wheel.

It was a good learning curve for me and I need to make some new adjustments to get the best out of the set up and smooth out my game play.

Any other advice is always welcome, I am learning everyday.
