Right i think we all know evil homer. yes?
well i was playing with him the other day and him being evil homer he wasn't very good.
Okay, this morning (GMT)i was playing against him and he was all of a sudden very good. i was shocked at first and thought nothing of it. i then played a game with him on which he had beaten TSK(something) who is really good.

yesterday he was getting about 18 and 23ish deaths but today he was getting 38ish kills and 2-4 deaths. i spoke to him about it and he left the server. i dont know if this was a glitch or something but he left and came back on again not being as good as he was.

i was thinking that he had a friend around who was good at the game but he never replied. i would just like to ask on the sake of the clan just check back on the logs. if there is nothing there then i am sorry for the hastle. i dont know how to definitivly pick out a hacker and so i would like some help with this.

ill keep looking, and usually he is just a normal player, nothing special.......but that being said...even I can go from 30 deaths to 0 deaths on the next map if i really know it well!!
but again I will keep an eye out!

My game play varies drastically as well. Some maps jive with my style of play and others don't. On some maps I know all the secrets, on others I don't. The largest factor in my playability is whether I'm playing right after work or not.

When I get home from work a lot of times I like to get on the server and just have fun and not be highly competitive. Helps me unwind. Mid-day or late night I am usually a lot more competitive and trying to rack up frags rather than be a clown.

Also, my office is positioned such that in the morning the sun (around 9am CST) shines on my monitor and I can't see shit in the dark maps. My frags drop way off simply because I can't see.

Speaking of seeing, sometimes I get tired of getting my ass handed to me and I go get my glasses. My skill usually jumps instantly simply because I can see what I'm needing to shoot.


I think Evil Homer is frustratingly good at some maps. I've also wondered about him, but if you approach him from a different angle, change your play style and set a goal to figure out his tricks, I think you will learn some new stuff from him and figure out that he is highly repetitive. Once you figure out his repetition, you can spank him like a schoolgirl.

well you would hate to see how i improved from the last time i played in the freestyle sever which wasnt long ago.
i got to a friend and get tips pointers and a few other things like training and i went for not hiting anyone to pawning most everything.

Regarding Evil Homer
I totally agree with Goose above, Homer has his favourite locations in his favourite maps and he generally does well in those. Most of the time he tries to camp and cover spawn spots. If some regular players are in, then they almost always know where to find him.
I shouldn't worry too much about him, he is learning the maps just like all of us.
