Stay crouch bind

I searched the forum and didn't find anything about it so I figured I post this here for all to see.

Do your digits ache from constant crouching, but you don't want to leave your head up for all to see?

Look no farther! I have the perfect deal for you.

Introducing! The one... the only... STAY CROUCH BIND. That's right folks. for the low price of $0.00 I will show you how to keep your head down without making your digits ache on those long sniping maps...

All you have to do is open up your ingame console with the ~(tilde) key and enter:

set input "key" toggle bduck

For example. I use the shift button for my stay crouch. So for my keybind I just type:

set input shift toggle bduck

And voila! No more having to hold my crouch button down. With this keybind all you do is press one button and you will stay crouched until you decide to release it.

Now this can be cause a bit of trouble in a run and gun situation if you like to crouch to throw off your enemys aim. Therefore I use right ctrl for my normal crouch and right shift for my stay crouch so I have both in my arsenal no matter the situation.

Must say, it's been great on the FUN freestyle server lately with lot's of good players like you coming in regularly, joining Team Speak and making the games far more challenging. Good luck with your FUN application, like I said before, you get my vote.

And for the campers:

set input shift toggle bDuck | SwitchToBestWeapon

This bind will automatically make you permacrouch and switch you to your rifle at the same time. To 'stand-up' again, just tap your usual crouch key. Nice one Ninja. Anyone else have any keybinds they use that could be beneficial? Have a good one.

Very Useful for a FN match...but since you don't have to crouch on the FUN server I'm not sure if it would benefit anyone, unless on the the camping server.

Aim bind-

If you use a high sensitivity and don't have the control you get at a low sensitivity, you can try this...

Leftmouse= setsensitivity (low sensitivity) | fire | onrelease setsensitivity (your normal sensitivity)

That way you can look around fast but your sensitivity goes down low to control better when shooting, then when you stop shooting it returns to normal sensitivity. Example -

Leftmouse= setsensitivity 1.0 | fire | onrelease setsensitivity 5.0

Pretty much pointless if you use a low/normal sensitivity. It's better not to use something like this if you play alot and have time to get used to a real sensitivity.

Also, some people will say that's an illegal keybind. If you care what they think about something intentionally implemented into the game by the designers, don't use it.

The way I stay crouched is by crouching, then while in the crouching position I hit the key for "Show Voice Menu" which I have set to "V". I have to let the voice menu come completely open, but then I can let go of both keys and I will stay crouched. To stand again I hit the crouch button again.

I just kind of imbiciled into that one. Let me know if it works for any of you all also.
